Viola Show Time, for Viola and Piano

«Viola Show Time, Seven Pieces for Viola and Piano» is inspired by the formalities, performers and characters of the classical circus. The collection, organised as a suite, was written specifically with students of the viola in mind and is made up of seven pieces which can be played either in sequence (i.e. as seven movements) or as separate pieces. The publication is ideal for students progressing from ViolaViva's Moving Up Series, and forms part of ViolaViva's growing educational catalogue of new repertoire, organised in three series: First Steps Series, Moving Up Series and Mastery Series.
When rehearsing the pieces of Viola Show Time, take inspiration from the characterisation within the music, have fun working alongside your accompanist and, while together keeping accurate time, do enjoy those tricky rhythms.
